Before we ask you to spend time filling out this form, we'd like to share our network's values and ask that you review them.
We believe that people, not corporations, should shape the decisions that affect our communities, our land, and our future. When elected officials prioritize corporate interests over the well-being of our communities, natural resources, and shared public goods, we organize to hold them accountable.
We recognize that our strength comes from solidarity and diversity. We welcome people from many backgrounds and perspectives who share a commitment to protecting our communities, our ecosystems, and our democratic institutions.
We understand that struggles against extractive industries are interconnected. We seek to build relationships rooted in trust, mutual support, and respect for one another and the land we depend on.
We aim to engage each other with generosity. Conflict is inevitable in collaborative work; when it arises, we commit to addressing it directly, respectfully, and with the intention of strengthening our collective work.
We acknowledge that systems of oppression shape our society and our movements. We strive to remain aware of our own positions, listen to perspectives different from our own, and work to address the structural causes of injustice. Our work is connected to broader struggles for justice, including climate justice, racial justice, immigrant justice, disability justice, LGBTQ+ justice, and the protection of water, land, and community self-determination.
We recognize colonization as an ongoing process and support efforts toward Indigenous sovereignty and land stewardship. We stand in solidarity with communities everywhere who are resisting extractive industries and asserting control over their land, labor, and resources.
We practice humility in our organizing. We recognize our strengths and limitations, ask for support when needed, and work to prevent ego from undermining our shared goals.
We believe that sustaining movements requires joy, creativity, and connection. Building community, and celebrating together, is part of resisting systems that seek to isolate and exhaust us.
Our coalition is autonomous and rooted in a shared commitment to the common good. We encourage initiative and leadership while recognizing that people's capacity changes over time.
We support one another through practices of mutual care, recognizing the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being of our members.
We commit to taking action together in pursuit of our shared goals. We move forward in a spirit of unity, trusting that even when our strategies differ, we are working toward the same vision of justice and collective well-being.
